Flamingo's First Flight

I've just returned from a wonderful trip to Kansas City for the annual conference of the Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association. Each year our conference includes a tablescape competition. I sat out this year, because the regional jet I took made it too challenging to travel with dishes. Here's the table I would have showcased, the first flight of flamingo on my tabletop! Flamingo is the new Fiesta color for 2012.

My mother found this vintage salt and pepper shaker set during a recent beach trip. She did not know that I had this cloth. What a perfect match!

Flamingo just pops with chocolate, lemongrass and marigold!

We're going to have a lot of fun with this color!

  1. I love the nice bright color of the flamingo pink-cute setting:@)

  2. Great tabletopper, it sure pops up with the coloring of the pretty dishes. The flamingo pink is lovely, it always reminds me of Miami! Hugs,

  3. That table cloth couldn't be more perfect! I love the new flamingo color. My husband takes me to Macy's every time a new color comes out...I have enough Fiesta to do a State Dinner at the White House! =D

  4. That is a great combination! Fabulous! How great are those s&p shakers to go with your cloth??!?!? This is going in the top of my favorites.

  5. Daphne,

Those shakers are such a good match, I thought they were part of the design on the tablecloth! Are those baby rice bowls? Very pretty tablescape.
